Managing Director & CEO of Meditative Greens, Amandeep Chabba, is a serial entrepreneur with successful ventures in law, realty, and technical training schools. After being in Canada for only three years, he switched focus to cannabis with the intention of starting a new family business, focused on high quality medicinal production. Chabba needed a professional advisory team immersed in the new cannabis industry, with a specific focus on regulatory insight. The hunt was on.
The Meditative Greens team first met GrowerIQ at a cannabis conference, and connected with our Master Grower, Shlomo Booklin. Chabba recalls, “It was obvious from speaking to Shlomo that he had a wealth of knowledge in the industry. His decades of experience are exactly what we needed to make our vision a reality. Our goal was to use that expertise to avoid costly mistakes in
the first place.”
While researching competitor firms, he experiences an all-too-common phenomenon in the industry: pushy consultants who don't give the time of day without looking into an expensive contract. GrowerIQ prioritizes relationships and honest advice above all else, which is why every client is assigned a dedicated Customer Success Manager. Our colleague, Zaki Amer, exemplified this ethos by spending time supporting the team on many calls and meetings during the evaluation phase. It was this personal relationship that helped GrowerIQ stand out and win over the team's trust.
Once Meditative Greens elected to proceed with GrowerIQ, we were tasked with drafting a business plan/financial model and designing a floor plan aligned to cultivation best practices. Chabba was looking to maximise space in a facility of more than 20,000 square feet, on a tight budget, with quick construction and licensing application turnaround. This included an attached post-harvest processing facility. With such a big vision, GrowerIQ crafted a phased approach to reduce risk and demonstrate success in stages. After a number of iterations with the client team, GrowerIQ finalized a design that checked all boxes. "The Planning and preparation phase went so well that GrowerIQ became the official consulting partner for the project. We're thrilled to see happy clients become repeat customers."
