GrowerIQ Secures $1M in Funding from Government of Canada

Government of Canada’s investment will allow further development of the company’s cutting-edge technology and expansion of their global footprint

TORONTO, ONTARIO – September 19, 2023 – GrowerIQ, a leading cannabis technology company, is pleased to announce the successful completion of its latest funding round, securing CAD $1,080,000. This project, funded by the Government of Canada through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), will be used to further enhance GrowerIQ’s comprehensive cannabis tracking system and solidify its position as a global leader in the industry.

GrowerIQ’s mission is to revolutionize the management of cannabis production facilities worldwide by providing a robust and integrated solution. Its platform is the operational backbone that allows highly-regulated cannabis companies to pull together fragmented systems, digitize operations and scale profitably. The funding round boosts total investment in GrowerIQ. This includes a previously oversubscribed Seed round, which demonstrated strong investor confidence in the company’s vision and technology. The company previously announced an exclusive contract with the Government of Barbados to manage all cannabis production on the island.
